Rockwell Automation in Monterrey, Mexico is hiring a Buyer to monitor supplier deliveries, manage on-time performance, and lead procurement initiatives. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Quality to align requirements and drive supplier performance improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of direct buying experience, with SAP and advanced Excel proficiency, plus strong negotiation and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as direct buyer.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel.
• Proficient in English and Excel; SAP experience is essential.
• Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholderInfluence skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier order delivery responses, promise dates, expediting, and scheduling with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier on-time delivery metrics and lead corrective action plans for critical commodities.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Quality.
• Serve as the first Rockwell contact with suppliers to ensure awareness of Rockwell requirements.
• Participate in regional localization initiatives and strategic sourcing projects.
