Candidates should possess a degree in a related field along with 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence tools like MicroStrategy and Power BI. A strong command of English is also required.

British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Executivein Monterrey

The role is responsible forworking with a group of diverse and highly skilled team in Monterrey as part of a DBS Hub in Mexico working closely with the Insights and Foresights Business intelligence team in Canada, this role will combine technical expertise with business understanding to provide data driven solutions supporting the Canadian business unit to take better decisions providing objective, timely and relevant solutions/analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Govern the reporting processes and ensure integrity (i.e. continue delivering the Global and local reporting)
• Develop Business Intelligence Dashboards based on requirements from the DBS Business Intelligence Visualization Mgr.
• Develop comprehensive understanding of what metrics to use for the required business & functional objective.
• Work cross-functionally to drive usage of the Business Intelligence assets (Dashboards, Self-serve sematic layer) through development and management of Communication plan, webinars, "How to guides", newsletters etc.
• Lead potentially management and UAT of Business Intelligence asset migration from MicroStrategy to Power BI & participate in the fit gap analysis to ensure migration efforts yields in benefit without sacrificing existing functionality (Global developed and locally steered migration effort)
• Leads the onboarding of new data integration with Data engineer (For ETL work) and IDT for use with BI Assets by working with internal teams (Semantic layer)
• Support with new data testing, validation & proof of concept builds.
• Plan and prioritises enhancements to constantly improve engagement and usability of our products

What are we looking for?

• D egree in a field such as Marketing, Computer science, or Analytics.
• 2-5 years in a similar role in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of business delivery.
• Advanced experience of analyzing sales performance data across multiple sources, and multiple relevant metrics
• Experience working with data scientists in developing products.
• Ability to fluently converse in English and able to present effectively complex concepts and processes.
• Demonstrates strong analytic skills including the ability to synthesize information, discover trends, reduce complexity, and identify key opportunities.
• Strong understanding of MicroStrategy and Power BI is essential.
