A leading chemical distribution company in Mexico City seeks an experienced professional to lead strategic planning and operational excellence. This role involves managing P&L, developing high-performance teams, and driving commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Engineering, strong English, Portuguese, and Spanish skills, and experience in business unit management, preferably in chemical distribution. Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in business unit management or commercial management.

Job Description
  • Lead the development and implementation of the annual strategic planning by defining focus markets, supporting Univar's long-term vision.
  • Define the structure and investments necessary for the execution of the plan.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Ensure the formation and development of high-performance teams aligned with business needs, developing talented leaders for cultural and digital transformation in the new organization.
  • Lead the execution of action plans with strategic suppliers, Mutual Action Plans (MAP) in alignment with global supplier leadership.
  • Responsible for leading M&A processes in the region, including assessing strategic fit, developing acquisition business plans, and leading integration processes.
  • Work alongside the commercial operations team to drive commercial excellence, pipeline, margin management, churn mitigation, and effective activity management.
  • Responsible for the P&L of their line of business.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in end-to-end business unit management, business development, commercial management, finance, and distribution.Experience in distributing chemical raw materials for the food, cosmetics, or personal and household care industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fluent English. Advanced Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Availability to travel in Latin America (4 times a year) and intercontinental (2 times a year).
