Klar in Mexico City is seeking a Business Architect for Credit Products to design, build, and improve Klar’s credit experiences. You’ll work with Product, Credit Risk, Data, Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience to turn needs into scalable product solutions.
This is a hands-on, lifecycle-driven role embracing collaboration and data-led decisions. The position requires strong analytical skills, fluency in English, and a track record of translating complex problems
Formación
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python for Data Analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in product development, business analysis, product operations, consulting, fintech, financial services, or another analytical environment.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams and build alignment across different perspectives.
Responsabilidades
- Understand problems and map customer journeys, business processes, decision flows, system interactions, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Translate business and customer needs into clear requirements that technical teams can implement.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, Finance, and Customer Experience throughout product discovery and delivery.
- Define success metrics, monitor product launches and performance, and recommend improvements based on data and customer feedback.
- Support prioritization by evaluating customer impact, business value, risk, complexity, and dependencies.

This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week.
As a Business Architect for Credit Products, you will help design, build, and continuously improve Klar’s credit experiences.
You will work closely with Product, Credit Risk, Data, Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience to turn customer and business needs into clear, scalable product solutions. You will develop a deep understanding of our customers, credit products, decision processes, and technology—connecting the details across teams to ensure we solve the right problems and deliver high-quality experiences.
This is a hands-on product role. You will participate throughout the product lifecycle: understanding problems, analyzing data, mapping customer journeys, defining requirements, supporting delivery, validating releases, and measuring results.
- Develop a deep understanding of Klar’s customers, credit products, business model, and end-to-end credit lifecycle.
- Identify and structure product opportunities across activation, utilization, repayments, credit-line management, delinquency, and collections using customer insights, operational feedback, and performance data.
- Translate customer, business, credit-risk, operational, and regulatory needs into clear product requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Map customer journeys, business processes, decision flows, system interactions, dependencies, and edge cases to design simple and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, Finance, and Customer Experience throughout product discovery and delivery.
- Support prioritization by evaluating customer impact, business value, risk, complexity, and dependencies.
- Participate in backlog refinement, planning, testing, business validation, and release readiness to ensure solutions meet their intended requirements.
- Define success metrics, monitor product launches and performance, and recommend improvements based on data and customer feedback.
- Improve the tools, processes, and documentation that enable Klar’s credit products and teams to scale effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or analytical field (e.g., Computational, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python for Data Analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in product development, business analysis, product operations, consulting, fintech, financial services, or another analytical and cross‑functional environment.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical teams and build alignment across different perspectives.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous or complex problems.
- Ability to translate business and customer needs into clear requirements that technical teams can implement.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify edge cases, dependencies, and unintended consequences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Customer‑focused thinking and an interest in creating simple, transparent, and intuitive financial experiences.
- A high level of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn the details of both the product and the underlying business.
- Ability to manage several workstreams and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
