A leading manufacturing solutions company in León, Guanajuato seeks an engineer to utilize engineering tools like PFMEA and AutoCAD in support of manufacturing solutions, validation of equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with design evaluation and supplier development.

Formación

• Experience with PFMEA, DFM/A, GD&T.
• Knowledge of equipment design and validation processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support validation of equipment design and installation.
• Assist in evaluating designs for manufacturability.
• Conduct supplier development visits and participate in design reviews.
• Lead Continuous Improvement events like Lean Workshops.

Descripción del empleo

• Use engineering tools such as PFMEA, DFM/A, Process Flow Diagrams, GD&T, AutoCAD, and Plastic Omnium systems to support robust manufacturing solutions.

• Support validation of equipment design, installation, and commissioning to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with internal standards.

• Assist Product Engineering in evaluating designs for manufacturability and defining equipment/process interfaces.

• Conduct supplier development visits, participate in design reviews, and investigate new technologies that can improve process capability, reliability, or cost.

• Perform root cause analysis and support troubleshooting for equipment or process issues.

• Lead or assist with Continuous Improvement events such as Lean Workshops, Team Feasibility Reviews, or Six Sigma initiatives.

• Participate in R&D activities to develop new machinery concepts or process solutions for emerging product designs.

• Maintain and update global specifications, process documents, and standard tools as part of the WW standardization effort.

• Share knowledge and solutions across the corporation to reduce duplication of engineering efforts across facilities.
