Flowserve is seeking a GL Accounting Supervisor to lead a team of accountants in US GAAP responsibilities, including accruals, reconciliations, recurring journal entries, consolidation, and month-end closings. You will work with site controllers to ensure accurate financial statements, support internal and external audits, develop strong internal controls, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and strong leadership and communication

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of accountants in US GAAP accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, recurring journal entries, consolidation, ad-hoc queries, and adjustments.
• Oversee month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes.
• Supervise a team of 6-8 accountants in day-to-day work.
• Ensure accurate and controlled financial statements with site controllers.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Balance team workload and meet month-end deadlines and KPIs.
• Develop an environment that attracts and retains quality talent.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls for the center.
• Foster operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end processes.
• Maintain good relationship with site leadership for healthy service level.
• Other duties as assigned

Role Summary: As an GL Accounting Supervisor, you will lead a team of accountants in assigned US GAAP accounting, including accruals, account reconciliation, recurring journal entries, consolidation, ad-hoc queries, and adjustments. You lead the team in month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Along with the transition team, supervise a team to transition general ledger responsibilities from US or EU sites into the Shared Service center.
• Supervise a team of 6-8 accountants in day-to-day work.
• Supervise the day-to-day accounting, month end closing processes and account reconciliations under US-GAAP.
• Work with the site controllers to ensure accurate and controlled financial statements for their site.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Responsible for balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other KPI targets are met for the team.
• Help develop an environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls for the center's operations.
• Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Work cross functionally to ensure end-to-end processes work within the assigned region or sites.
• Maintain a good relationship with site leadership to ensure a healthy service level.
