Pattern Energy Group is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to support operations, maintenance and repairs at a High Voltage Direct Current converter station as directed by the Facility Manager. The role requires electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, familiarity with switching orders, and the ability to work in 24/7 shifts in a demanding environment.

A diploma or technical certificate is required, with strong safety performance and teamwork values.

Formación

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications.
• Basic understanding of one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to read and understand Switching Orders.
• Perform Hot-Cold-Hot voltage checks and safety procedures.
• Experience racking-out low/medium voltage breakers.

Responsabilidades

• Support Facility Manager in all on-site operations and maintenance tasks.
• Operate and maintain substations, transmission lines, and switchgear.
• Lead use of maintenance docs, reporting tools and performance systems.
• Provide hands-on technical support for plant equipment and power delivery systems.
• Promote safe work habits and an injury-free workplace culture.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and CMMS processes.
