A leading automotive manufacturer in Silao is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to oversee maintenance operations and a small team. Responsibilities include conducting maintenance checks, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree and have a minimum of 2 years' experience. This is a full-time on-site temporary position lasting 18 months.

As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• You will conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results
• Recommends solutions to problems
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
• Meets schedule and quality requirements
• Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
• Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
• Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
• Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
• Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project
• Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles

On site: This position requires working on site on a full-time basis. Temporary position with a duration of 18 months.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Available to change shifts (4 x 3)
• Intermediate level English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and FANUC robots
• Experience in OPEX and REDEX projects
