What You Will Be Doing

It ensures that the daily procedures of the Warehouse are performed correctly in a timely and professional manner. Assists the Shipping Supervisor and FGS in determining what tasks FGS and Shipment clerks perform, based on the workload of the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping areas. Serves as a liaison between the Warehouse, Customer Services, and Planning. Performs expedited requests by Customer Services, Planning, and Production Control. Performs special duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor and FGS.

This position is required to support the FGS/Shipping operations at Dale La Laguna (Ametherm).

  • Distribute the workload and assign tasks between FGS and Shipments clerks for the following areas: Receipt, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Periodically monitors and keeps informed the FGS clerks and shipments of the productivity levels within the Winery.
  • It ensures that all expedited vehicles are processed in the boarding area and maintains an appropriate communication flow between all involved.
  • Communicates and services receipts and shipments to departments such as Planning, Sales, Production, Customer Service, etc. globally within the Vishay organization.
Position Requirements
  • Education: High School and/or equivalent
  • Experience: 6-12 months of experience in a similar position (Preferred)
  • Verbal and written bilingual
  • Induction, Procedures applicable to your process, Documents applicable to your process, SAP
  • Knowledge: Ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Public speaking experience desired.
  • Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel (PivotTables, Power Query), PowerPoint, MS Access or Database equivalent software experience desired.
  • Travel < 20% visiting customers, sales personnel and distributors may be applicable.
