Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Regional Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in the Americas. You will drive operational excellence, oversee multiple sites, manage cross‑functional teams, and align with client objectives while maintaining safety, compliance, and asset integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in engineering leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience managing an engineering/maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of safety, energy, and life-safety systems.
• OSHA, NFPA, EPA regulations familiarity.
• Universal CFC EPA certification.
• Operating Engineer license or equivalent.
• Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering teams across multiple sites.
• Provide leadership and coaching to property management and engineering leaders.
• Provide technical expertise to improve reliability, service delivery, and solutions for properties.
• Implement preventive maintenance and energy-reduction strategies.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and site assessments for new opportunities.
• Ensure portfolio-wide safety compliance and adherence to budget guidelines.

As a Regional Engineering Manager at JLL, you’ll lead engineering and maintenance operations across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with client objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee multiple sites, manage cross‑functional teams, and drive performance improvements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and asset integrity. You’ll serve as the technical authority and strategic partner for clients, translating their business needs into actionable engineering solutions.

You’ll balance hands‑on technical expertise with strategic thinking, managing budgets, vendor relationships, and capital planning initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What is your day-to-day?

• Lead and support engineering teams, developing high-performance teams.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to property management field organizations and territory team leaders, coaching Regional Managers, General Managers, Chief Engineers, and other engineering leaders.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to the region, supporting operational improvements in reliability, service delivery, and solutions to property issues.
• Identify and implement preventative maintenance and energy reduction strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations within the region.
• Support new business opportunities and acquisitions, including proposals, client presentations, building assessments, and staffing.
• Ensure strategic management and optimization of building systems within property budget guidelines.
• Ensure portfolio-wide compliance with safety codes and policies, instituting safety training programs as needed.

Desired experience and technical skills:

• 10+ years of related experience, especially as a Senior Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager.
• Outstanding knowledge of utility management, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems in commercial properties.
• 5+ years of experience managing an engineering/maintenance team, including hiring, training, and coaching employees.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and EPA regulations.
• Universal CFC EPA certification.
• Operating Engineer license or similar (as applicable by state regulations).
• Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) and strong customer service and communication skills.
