Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Operations Communications Specialist to support its Titanium Technologies business across the U.S. and Mexico.

The role reports to the Global Business Communications Leader and drives critical internal communications, reputation management, media relations, crisis communications, and community engagement for multiple sites. The position focuses on ensuring manufacturing employees and local stakeholders understand Chemours' safety,

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in internal and external communications.
• Ability to advise site leadership on communications strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Support key global internal communications initiatives across the Titanium Technologies business.
• Implement external and internal communication strategy for manufacturing sites (U.S. and Mexico).
• Advise site leadership and manufacturing leadership on communications.
• Support content development for town halls, talking points, announcements, and media assets.
• Refresh plant communications assets and collateral (websites, SharePoint sites, one-pagers, posters).
• Integrate plans from multiple sources into a unified communication approach for manufacturing employees.
• Develop and implement communications plans for critical initiatives.
• Support crisis/issues communications including response plans and media monitoring.
• Build relationships with local media partners and support message creation and dissemination.
• Engage with Community Advisory Panels and local stakeholders to strengthen ties.
• Lead or support community outreach and STEM initiatives.
