Citi seeks a Sr. UI Designer / Product Designer to evolve digital interfaces for web and mobile apps. You will design responsive layouts, contribute to design systems, and translate business needs into visual solutions across platforms.

With 3+ years in digital interface design and proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC, you will collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and developers to deliver consistent, accessible user experiences that align with Citi’s brand standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, New Media or related field.
• Portfolio that demonstrates diverse design styles and a clear personal aesthetic.
• Intimate knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud; HTML is a plus.

The User Interface Designer is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

• Review and Interpret creative briefs along side members of your experience design team
• Understand customer goals, business requirements, technical constraints, and work within project parameters
• Develop original design concepts and manage the design project through execution.
• Partner with Creatives, Strategists and Project Managers and other team members to develop effective end-to-end customer experiences across all channels.
• Capable of designing three unique creative solutions to one problem without a team in a hands-on manner.
• Able to concept, illustrate, art direct and manage photo shoots
• Able to present objectives, design approaches, and creative solutions to stakeholders in an articulate and persuasive manner.
• Interpret stakeholder feedback and communicate feedback to the design team.
• Experiment with new tools and techniques and share your learning

• Able to motivate, mentor and inspire other designers.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience designing web and mobile experiences with an understanding of responsive design, iOS and Android design systems. Print experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, New Media or related field.
• Portfolio that represents a wide range of design styles, diverse projects and a clear personal aesthetic.
• Intimate knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications. HTML is a plus.
• Solid design, conceptual thinking, and typography skills.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

UI Designer Sr. / Product Designer (Visual Design)

Objetivo del Puesto

Diseñar y evolucionar la interfaz visual de productos digitales, garantizando experiencias intuitivas, consistentes y alineadas a los estándares de diseño, identidad de marca y lineamientos del canal digital. Será responsable de transformar requerimientos funcionales en soluciones visuales atractivas y centradas en el usuario mediante la creación de prototipos, componentes y sistemas de diseño escalables.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Diseñar interfaces digitales para aplicaciones web y móviles.
• Crear wireframes, mockups, prototipos interactivos y flujos visuales de navegación.
• Definir layouts y estructuras de información que optimicen la experiencia del usuario.
• Diseñar y mantener componentes visuales reutilizables dentro de Design Systems.
• Garantizar la consistencia visual de los productos mediante el uso de UI Kits y guías de estilo.
• Diseñar interacciones visuales alineadas a principios de usabilidad y accesibilidad.
• Colaborar con Product Owners, UX Designers, desarrolladores y stakeholders para transformar necesidades de negocio en soluciones visuales efectivas.
• Participar en revisiones de diseño y validación de prototipos antes de su implementación.
• Asegurar la correcta adaptación de diseños para distintos dispositivos y resoluciones (Responsive Design).
• Contribuir a la mejora continua de estándares, bibliotecas de componentes y mejores prácticas de diseño digital.

Requisitos

Formación Académica

• Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico, Diseño Digital, Diseño Interactivo, Comunicación Visual, Ingeniería en Multimedia o afín.

Experiencia

• 3+ años de experiencia en diseño de interfaces digitales para productos web y/o móviles.
• Experiencia colaborando con equipos multidisciplinarios de Producto, UX y Tecnología.
• Experiencia en construcción y mantenimiento de Design Systems.

Conocimientos Técnicos

• Dominio de Figma para diseño, prototipado y gestión de componentes.
• Manejo de herramientas de la suite Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator o similares).
• Diseño responsivo y adaptativo.
• Creación de UI Kits, componentes y bibliotecas de diseño.
• Conocimientos de principios de UX, usabilidad y accesibilidad.
• Familiaridad con metodologías Agile/Scrum.
