The Information Security Ops (ISO) Intermediate Analyst at Banco Nacional De Mexico, S.A., Integrante Del Grupo Financiero Banamex leads efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to data breaches, aligning with Citi's data security policy and regulatory requirements.

You will verify IS compliance with standards, monitor risk in critical systems, assist incident response, and guide risk assessments while promoting security awareness across the business.

Qualifications

2-5 years of relevant experience in information security.
Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures.

The Information Security Ops (ISO) Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

Responsibilities

Verify with technology teams that technology Information Security (IS) is compliant with standards and meets IS technology strategy goals

Monitor changes in the risk profile of highly critical systems

Assist security incident response teams resolve and close the investigation of incidents

Complete the Risk Assessment process, including maintaining accurate asset inventory, system criticality information, data classification, threat analysis and action plans

Guide the completion of Risk Assessments and other IS related compliance processes, and ensure processes are understood, appropriate controls take place, and remediation of non-compliance is documented and addressed

Promote and educate security awareness within the business

Ensure compliance of information security standards and best practices across multiple disciplines and help security incident response teams resolve and close the investigation of incidents

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Independently exercise judgement and decision‑making in managing day‑to‑day responsibilities, including evaluating complex situations, resolving issues, and determining appropriate courses of action. Drive and influence delivery of work within area of responsibility, contributing to operational priorities and ensuring progress against timelines. Will be accountable for delivery outcomes, including quality and timelines, and may have a measurable impact on business results within scope. In addition, will provide oversight on execution by reviewing outputs, guiding approach where required, and addressing gaps to ensure delivery meets expected standards. Take ownership of decisions and deliverables within remit, applying analytical thinking and professional expertise to solve problems and ensure effective outcomes.
