The Opportunity

As a Backend Engineer you'll be instrumental in architecting and developing the core systems that power our innovative legal platform. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-paced growth-stage startup where your contributions directly shape the product and company trajectory. You'll work alongside a talented founding engineering team building scalable solutions that tackle complex industry challenges.

What You'll Do

• Architect scalable systems Design and implement high-performance backend infrastructure using Python Go Rust and WebAssembly
• Build cloud-native solutions Leverage AWS services including Amplify LightSail and Fargate to create robust secure and scalable infrastructure
• Manage data architecture Work across diverse database technologies including PostgreSQL MongoDB and vector databases
• Drive product impact Collaborate directly with the founding engineering team to ship high-impact features that delight users
• Shape the vision Contribute to product strategy and technical direction as an early team member with substantial influence

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in backend development with Python Go or Rust
• Experience building and deploying systems on AWS infrastructure
