Spin Careers is seeking a Backend Engineer in Monterrey to join our team and help build the terminal engine backend. You will focus on Java and Spring Boot, develop microservices, APIs, and containerized solutions, and collaborate across Architecture, Data, and DevOps in agile sprints.

You will design, implement, and test software with a focus on secure development standards, maintain documentation, and contribute to a proactive, autonomous team culture aligned with Spin values.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience creating microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with Maven/Gradle and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Scrum and Jira.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Location: Monterrey, Mexico.
• Nice to have knowledge of messaging protocols for terminals.

Responsabilidades

• Develop software solutions meeting business and technical specs.
• Document code and ensure maintainability.
• Develop and maintain APIs for multiple applications.
• Implement solutions using container technologies for scalability.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data, and DevOps teams in sprints.
• Gather requirements in JIRA and define acceptance criteria.
• Write unit and integration tests; verify usability.
• Create automation tools and scripts.
• Maintain architecture and operational documentation.
• Promote autonomous, proactive problem solving and Spin culture.
