WorldStrides is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable integrations across enterprise systems in Mérida, Mexico. You will work with Azure Integration Services, APIM, REST/SOAP APIs, and DevOps practices to enable data exchange and automated workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, message queues, and event-driven patterns, plus strong collaboration with architects, analysts, and developers to deliver reliable

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in integration technologies and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with Azure API Management for API publishing, security, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and data transformation.
• Experience with message queues, pub/sub patterns, and event-driven integrations.
• Proficient in Python for integration solutions and automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar observability tools.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure and scalable integrations across enterprise systems and internal applications.
• Build and manage REST APIs using Azure API Management and related lifecycle practices.
• Develop and support event-driven integrations using queues and pub/sub patterns; use asynchronous processing.
• Work with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, SQL, Web Apps, Entra ID).
• Follow API design best practices, security, error handling, monitoring, and deployment.
• Participate in Agile delivery with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Create technical docs, API specs, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Ensure production readiness and security/compliance of integration solutions.
