Bluelightconsulting is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Mexico to design and maintain ETL processes using PySpark within Azure Synapse Analytics. You will build scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong Python (PySpark) skills, SQL proficiency, and experience with Azure Synapse components such as Notebooks and Pipelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data engineering processes using PySpark in Azure Synapse.
• Apply data warehousing concepts to design scalable star schemas and data stores.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files.
• Optimize data notebooks/pipelines for performance and SLA adherence.
• Ensure data quality checks and data governance compliance.
• Collaborate with data architects to model data and maintain documentation.
