Bluelight is seeking an ETL Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data integration processes using Python (PySpark) within Azure Synapse Analytics. You will work with data scientists and analysts to ensure accurate, timely data for insights and decision‑making.

The ideal candidate has strong PySpark ETL experience, solid SQL skills, and familiarity with data warehousing concepts, REST APIs, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Proficient in ETL with Python (PySpark) to extract, transform, and load from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSVs.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse resources: Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, Key Vault.
• Ability to write complex SQL, optimize queries, and work with SparkSQL and MS SQL.
• Familiarity with data integration best practices, version control, and Agile methods.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse.
• Design and optimize data warehouses with star schemas, facts, and dimensions.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Build scalable notebooks/pipelines in Azure Synapse to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with data architects on data models and schemas.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring for reliability.
• Document data flows and transformations; support cross‑functional teams.
