AllianceIT Inc in Mexico City offers a hybrid role for a software engineering consultant working with US clients. The position requires 3–5 years of hands-on engineering and strong skills in Python/Java, Unix/Linux, and cloud services.

Candidates should be familiar with SDLC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS (ECS/EKS/Lambda/CloudWatch), and cloud migration strategies. This role includes private health and life insurance, and a year-end bonus.

Formación

• 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in a team-based environment.
• Professional proficiency in Python or Java.
• Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, change management, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS compute and migration patterns (ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of on-prem to cloud migration strategies, workload assessment and post-migration validation.
• Experience with Python, Java, Shell for automation and scripting.

This position is a Hybrid position to work from Mexico City. You will be working as a consultant directly with clients US Clients.

We offer:

• $50,000 to $55,0000 MXN gross monthly

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Programming: Professional proficiency in Python, Java or a similar programming/scripting language.

Systems: Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals with the ability to troubleshoot application, deployment, environment, and runtime issues.

Methodology: Familiarity with SDLC practices, CI/CD delivery models, change management, and Kubernetes-based deployments.

AWS Services: Hands-on experience with AWS compute and migration patterns, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related cloud services.

Cloud Migration: Practical understanding of on-prem to cloud migration strategies, workload assessment, testing, cutover, and post-migration validation.

Programming and Automation: Experience with Python, Java, Shell, or similar languages to build scripts, utilities, and automation frameworks.
