UNDP in Mexico seeks a legal affairs coordinator to support the Sinergia+ project, strengthening processes for establishing priority ANPs through careful documentation and decree elaboration. The role includes coordinating with CONANP units and organizing public consultations to advance ANP decrees and declarations.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• University-level law studies are not mandatory but will be considered.
• For HS diploma holders, at least 4 years of verifiable experience are required.
• If you have a university degree, at least 1 year of experience in the legal framework for establishing Protected Natural Areas is required.
• Experience in quality report preparation is preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and ANP decree processes is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and track activities with CONANP administrative units in ANP decree elaboration.
• Organize and follow up public consultations for ANP establishment.
• Integrate, review, and update technical, legal, and administrative documentation for ANP decrees and declarations.
• Support the review and organization of preliminary justification studies, draft decrees, notices, and related documents.
• Address technical and documentary requirements to support ANP establishment and modification processes.
