Ford México seeks a Lead for New Product Launches and Central Engineering to connect product strategy with manufacturing execution. You will drive successful launches and build the engineering capability needed to support current and future plant operations.

Formación

• Requires professional engineering degree or related technical discipline.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and new product launches.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-complexity environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality, process capability, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced English to interact with global teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead new programs from manufacturing preparation through start of production.
• Direct and develop Launch and Central Engineering, aligning plant, program teams, and corporate functions.
• Manage master launch plan, budget, resources, risks, and governance to meet objectives.
• Oversee prototypes, pre-series builds, validation events, and ramp-up plans.
• Represent plant voice to programs and escalate risks affecting safety, quality, cost, timing, or volume.
• Lead Central Engineering strategy for capacity, infrastructure, facilities, and new equipment.
• Ensure projects deliver safe, maintainable, and production-ready solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and new manufacturing technologies.
