EDAG Mexico is seeking an Automotive Electrical Technician to support development and testing of electrical systems in vehicles. You will update control units, perform wiring harness work, install data acquisition equipment, and diagnose faults during production and development phases.

The role requires knowledge of CAN Bus and Ethernet, experience with OBD II tools, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Formación

Electrical/electronic engineering background.
At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
Experience with automotive electrical systems.
Knowledge of CAN Bus and Ethernet communication.
Experience using OBD II diagnostic tools, flashing and coding.
Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
Valid driver’s license.
English level: intermediate.
Availability for rotating shifts and a 6‑month contract.

Responsabilidades

Update and commission control units in test vehicles (production and development).
Wiring harness assembly and installation in development vehicles.
Install electromechanical components and data acquisition equipment in test vehicles.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles.
Monitor, deliver, report and document results.
