Job summary
Siemens is seeking an Automation Engineer in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, to design and program automation systems, including PLCs, HMI, and industrial networks. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement using Industry 4.0 concepts.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Automation and at least 2 years’ experience with advanced English proficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation engineering.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in industrial automation projects.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Develop control and electrical designs for automation equipment, including 2D/3D schematics.
- Program automation equipment and manufacturing systems using Siemens S7 and safety standards.
- Program robots following safety standards.
- Develop, review, and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI apps, and automation systems.
- Define and integrate industrial instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and control devices.
- Lead project implementation activities with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams.
