Redwood Logistics in Monterrey is seeking an Auditor for Freight Payment and Audit within Managed Services. You will process and audit carrier invoices, resolve billing issues, and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate payments and timely closures.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, familiarity with carrier pricing contracts, and strong analytical skills. Hybrid schedule, full-time with potential flexibility for coverage.

Formación

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish for verbal and written communication
• Experience with freight payment procedures and carrier pricing
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret carrier pricing contracts
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
• Accounts Payable experience preferred

• Understand LTL carrier pricing, tariffs, accessorial charges, and reasons invoices fail audit
• Understand Truckload pricing and reasons invoices fail audit
• Prepare and analyze data to manage carrier payables
• Perform other clerical/office work as needed
• Correspond with internal and external teams to ensure timely/accurate payment to carriers
• Identify reasons invoices fail audit and resolve root causes
• Ensure all customer invoices are processed accurately
• Manage invoice work queues to ensure timely payment within 90 days of delivery

This position is full-time and hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose Of Your Work

As Auditor- Freight Payment and Audit working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for processing and auditing carrier invoices efficiently and expeditiously in accordance with carrier and/or customer contracts.

How You Make a Difference Everyday

• Enter carrier freight bills
• Audit carrier freight bills
• Investigate and respond to billing issues/inquiries
• Understand LTL carrier pricing, tariffs, accessorial charges, and reasons why invoices fail audit
• Understand Truckload carrier pricing and reasons why invoices fail audit
• Prepare and analyze data to manage carrier payables
• Perform other clerical/office work as needed, including but not limited to answering phone calls, operating general office equipment (computer, scanner)
• Corresponding with internal and external teams as needed to ensure timely/accurate payment to carriers
• Identify reasons why invoices fail audit and work with carriers or internal team members to resolve the root causes
• Ensure all customer invoices are processed successfully and with accurate charges
• Effectively manage invoice work queues to ensure all invoices are processed and paid to carriers and billed to clients within 90 days of delivery

You’ve Got This?

• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; proficient level for verbal and written communication
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret freight payment procedures and carrier pricing contracts
• Ability to present information, respond to questions, and provide answers to vendors and/or internal teams as it relates to carrier freight bills
• Understanding of the LTL and Truckload transportation industry
• Understanding of carrier pricing and invoice details
• Ability to manage many different customer requirements for invoice audit
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team environment
• Experience with OTM, Mercury Gate, Excel, Zendesk, Teams, and Outlook
• Team player in discrepancy resolution, with freight rating and accessorial understanding
• Previous Accounts Payable experience, preferably processing
