A Day in the Life

Medtronic is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to join the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team, an exciting and fast‑growing business within Medtronic. You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team that is shaping the future of cardiac care. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful marketing initiatives while supporting operational excellence across the region.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative, financial, and logistical support to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities and compliance with internal processes. You will work cross‑functionally with Sales, T&E and Marketing teams to manage operational tasks and support event logistics. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills and an administrative background, with the ability to grow and expand marketing knowledge and capabilities.

Responsibilities

May include the following and other duties may be assigned:

1. Administrative Support & Processes Compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact for marketing team administrative tasks and processes
  • Stay up‑to‑date on changes to internal processes and ensure the team is informed
  • Manage distribution lists (DLs) and keep them current
  • Support cross‑functional administrative requests from outside the Operating Unit
  • Upload marketing materials to repositories, social platforms, or internal systems
  • Lead marketing material review process through Medreview/Veeva
  • Provide occasional support with local marketing activities (e.g., WF project creation, social media plans)
  • Open and track POs or retainers for marketing and communication activities
2. Meetings & Events Logistics (Internal)
  • Manage attendee registrations and rooming lists for meetings and events
  • Coordinate POs and payments for meetings (venues, catering, suppliers)
  • Order and track event supplies and materials
  • Handle TopDesk registrations, catering forms, and booking meeting rooms
  • Coordinate team dinners and social activities during larger events
3. Congresses and Physician Events
  • Coordinate needs for demos and promotional materials at congresses and other customer events. Tracking and coordinating logistics for demo equipment
  • Assist with shipments as needed (booth materials, congress supplies, promotional items)
  • Liaise with country teams to ensure event invitations have been shared and physicians are registered
  • Generating event agendas in coordination with Marketing team
  • Sourcing and booking vendors, agencies, etc.
4. Finance & Procurement
  • Create and track purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely follow‑up and support budget planning
  • Manage payments, including down payments, invoice processing, and follow‑ups
  • Create and update vendor records in the SAP system
  • Coordinate with Finance/Procurement teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and processes
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, marketing support, or coordination roles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment with a positive attitude
  • Fluency in English
Travel Requirements

Potential for up to 20% travel.
