Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist at its fulfillment center in Tepotzotlán, Mexico. The LPS leads security services and asset protection, reporting to the Loss Prevention Manager, and supports the FC operations and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include tracking metrics, ensuring SOX controls, assisting investigations, driving process improvements, and analyzing data across FCs to support the organization’s safety and asset protection goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of security and loss prevention experience.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Enhance, track, and report on KPIs to drive security performance improvements.
• Ensure SOX controls are fulfilled within the area.
• Assist investigations of internal and external theft and conduct interviews when appropriate.
• Inspire performance excellence among security services team members.
• Align actions with organizational vision and values.
• Meet or surpass objectives tied to the security service model.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices in the FC.
• Act as liaison and subject matter expert for facility management.
• Use Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements.
• Coordinate data collection across FCs and conduct analyses for strategic insights.
