UNDP in Mexico seeks a program assistant to support commercial promotion strategies aligned with government priorities and economic diplomacy. The role focuses on connecting with Mexican representations abroad to identify opportunities in strategic markets and track priority foreign trade projects.

Formación

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree not mandatory but will be given due consideration.
• 4+ years of international economics/government/international orgs or trade experience for high school graduates; 1 year for Bachelor's degree.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), and ability to plan projects and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience or knowledge in international economics, private sector development, and diplomacy is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support and advise on implementing commercial promotion strategies aligned with economic diplomacy and government priorities.
• Facilitate engagement with Mexican representations abroad to identify and promote trade and supply chain opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating participation in international fairs, seminars, and trade missions to raise the international profile of priority sectors.
• Liaise with federal, state, and municipal authorities, business organizations, and chambers to strengthen commercial promotion projects.
