Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect with a strong AI background. The role is fully remote from anywhere in Mexico, with Monterrey as a reference location.

You will define the technical vision for scalable AI platforms and lead cross-functional teams of researchers and engineers to accelerate discovery. You will design microservices, establish standards, and ensure performance and maintainability while mentoring engineers in architectural best practices for cutting-edge AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture and development with a focus on AI/ML systems.
• Proven experience designing/building large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and MLOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and modern programming patterns.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent design pattern, data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
• Strong leadership and remote-work communication skills.
