Placements24 is seeking a visionary Arquitecto de Datos to lead the design and implementation of robust BI solutions in a fully remote role. You will design data warehouses, data marts, and reporting structures to empower stakeholders with actionable insights and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data architecture, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and hands-on experience with ETL tools and BI platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or BI development.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex data warehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (dimensional and relational).
• Extensive experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
• Understanding of Big Data technologies and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level data warehousing solutions, including star schemas and snowflake schemas.
• Define data models and structures that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytical needs.
• Oversee the implementation of ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and timely availability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Select and implement appropriate BI tools and technologies.
• Establish data governance standards and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture and BI best practices.
• Optimize data warehouse performance for efficient querying and reporting.
• Stay current with emerging trends in data warehousing, BI, and data architecture.
