The successful candidate will lead BIM standards, BEP governance, and multi-disciplinary coordination while mentoring coordinators and advancing BIM adoption across the firm

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture with a BIM emphasis.
• 7+ years in architecture with 4+ years in BIM management.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and Solibri Model Checker; familiarity with ISO 19650.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all architectural projects.
• Manage BEP and BIM Execution Plans for projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead and train BIM coordinators and project teams on modeling, data management, and collaboration.
• Oversee integration and coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP models.
• Identify and resolve clashes in BIM models to ensure smooth delivery.

About the Role

Our client, a leading developer known for its ambitious urban regeneration projects, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Arquitecto BIM Manager to oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all projects in Zapopan, Jalisco . This role is crucial for optimizing design, construction, and facility management processes through advanced digital workflows. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of BIM standards, software platforms, and their application in large-scale developments. This is a key position that drives technological innovation and efficiency within the organization, ensuring seamless project delivery and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all architectural projects.
• Manage and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for projects, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Lead and train BIM coordinators and project teams on best practices for modeling, data management, and collaboration using BIM software.
• Oversee the creation, integration, and coordination of BIM models from different disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Identify and resolve clashes and interferences detected in the BIM models.
• Develop and manage the BIM content library and templates.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and consultants to define BIM requirements and deliverables.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and explore opportunities for innovation within the firm in Zapopan .
• Ensure that BIM data is effectively utilized throughout the project lifecycle, from design to operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or a related field with a strong emphasis on BIM.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, with at least 4 years focused specifically on BIM management and implementation.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri Model Checker.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and their practical application.
• Experience in developing and managing BIM Execution Plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to coordinate complex multidisciplinary models.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project delivery methods.
• Familiarity with the architectural landscape and project types common in Jalisco .
