Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is seeking an Armed School Security Officer for a school environment in Del Valle, TX. This full-time position offers pay at $22 per hour, with daily pay options and a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm shift.

Candidates will undergo additional screenings and background checks. Benefits include 50% employer-paid medical/dental/vision and free life insurance after 60 days, plus other insurance options and 401K.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be comfortable working with children and teenagers.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Education: High school or equivalent (Required).

Responsibilities

• Access control and patrols of client facilities.
• Investigate and report safety conditions endangering the client.
• Patrols may be assigned in a company vehicle or on foot.
• Theft and vandalism deterrence.
• Ensure a safe and professional work environment.
• Enforce campus rules and safeguard school grounds.
• Patrol and supervise the school campus.
• Maintain concise daily administrative documentation.
• Uniform attire and grooming in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.

SecurityResponsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols areassigned in a company-marked vehicle, provided the candidate’s driving history isexemplary. Free of tickets, accidents, or marks against your driver’s license.
  • Patrols may be assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Enforce campus rules and regulations
• Safeguard the school grounds from suspicious people and activity
• Patrol and supervise the school campus
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Candidates shouldbe able to provide body armor:
  • Tactical outer carrier
  • Concealed inner carrier
  • 3a+ Soft armor
  • Duty belt with MOLLEattachments
  • OC spray, handcuffs, and a baton.
  • Provide your own duty weapon
    • With at least 2 spare magazines
      Pay and Benefits:
• Salary: $22per hour
