TLDI seeks an Architect or Civil Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on construction experience to join the Project Planning & Control team for a hospitality project in Cancún, Mexico. This is an on-site, full-time assignment requiring coordination across designers, consultants, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will review drawings, manage scope/packages, and support tendering and procurement activities while ensuring alignment with project documentation.

Formación

  • Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in construction, technical coordination, project controls or design management.
  • On-site construction experience.
  • Experience in hotel, resort or hospitality construction is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Professional English proficiency is required.
  • Organized, proactive and comfortable coordinating multiple disciplines and priorities.

  • Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings, identifying inconsistencies, missing information and coordination issues.
  • Coordinate technical information between designers, consultants, contractors and the Project Management team.
  • Support constructability reviews and follow up on technical issues affecting construction.
  • Prepare and organize scope packages, quantity take-offs, catalogs/BOQs and technical information for contractor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Review contractor quotations and verify alignment with drawings, specifications and defined scope.
  • Track drawing revisions, RFIs, design comments and pending technical decisions.
  • Support the release of information required by the construction and procurement teams.

We’re Hiring | Architect / Civil Engineer – Planning & Control / Technical Coordination | Cancún, Mexico

TLDI is looking for an Architect or Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our Project Planning & Control team for a hospitality project in the Cancún area.

This is an on-site position for a technically strong professional with hands‑on construction experience who can support the team in the review, coordination and preparation of information required for procurement and construction.

Key responsibilities:
  • Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings, identifying inconsistencies, missing information and coordination issues.
  • Coordinate technical information between designers, consultants, contractors and the Project Management team.
  • Support constructability reviews and follow up on technical issues affecting construction.
  • Prepare and organize scope packages, quantity take-offs, catalogs/BOQs and technical information for contractor and subcontractor pricing.

What we’re looking for:

  • Good understanding of construction methods, quantities, specifications and scopes of work.
  • Experience preparing information for tendering and quotation processes is highly valued.
  • AutoCAD proficiency; Revit knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Professional English proficiency is required, as a significant portion of the project documentation and communication is in English.
  • Organized, proactive and comfortable coordinating multiple disciplines and priorities.

Location: Cancún / Riviera Maya, Mexico

Modality: On-site / Full-time project assignment

We are looking for someone who not only understands drawings, but also understands how things actually get built on site — someone capable of connecting design information with procurement, coordination and construction needs.
