Flowserve Corporation in Torreón is seeking an Applications Engineer to blend technical and commercial expertise for industrial and special applications. You will develop solutions for customers and partners and act as a product specialist within the team, collaborating with sales, development, and other site experts.

The responsibilities include supporting defined clients, evaluating requests, preparing proposals, costing with other departments, preparing offers, and handling orders.

Formación

• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role (inside sales, engineer).
• Requires strong communication skills.
• Requires strong technical acumen and analytical thinking.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.
• 5-7 years relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Support of the defined clients in the office
• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
• Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers
• Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
• And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
• Good communication skills
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
• SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
