A global industrial manufacturer is seeking an Application Engineer II in Mexico to provide exceptional customer support and quote prices for gear drive units. You will work closely with internal and external clients, review technical specifications, and utilize tools like SAP and Salesforce. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or substantial customer service experience is required. Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years customer service experience in a technical role.
• Advanced proficiency in English, verbal and written.
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred.

*Application Engineer II*

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional customer support.
• Quote both price & delivery for all modified standard & custom design gear drive units using a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, drawing, or schedule form.
• Review customer supplied technical specifications and select gear drive units to fit different applications.
• Provide marketing information derived from inquiries for product planning purposes.
• Coordinate large project quotation inquiries, which may include a broad range of products.
• Work with vendors/sub-contractors to determine pricing and lead time for custom components.
• Analyze costs to determine profitability at quoted prices.
• Provide disposition on price deviation requests from sales.
• Conduct pricing reviews and purchase order terms and conditions reviews.

Experience and Skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business - related field or a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience in a technical role, or a combination of education and experience.
• Advanced level of English language proficiency both verbal and written.
• High level of phone confidence and professionalism.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with SAP and Salesforce, strongly preferred.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.
• Drawing interpretation (2D & 3D).
• Experience in making quotes/proposals.
• Desired experience in/or metal/mechanic/pump/mining/oil & gas industries.
