Placements24 is seeking a Mobile Development Internship (Android) in Zapopan, Jalisco. You’ll design, develop, and test native Android apps, mentoring under senior engineers across the full app lifecycle. This hybrid role balances in-office collaboration with remote work.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/SE degrees with Kotlin or Java skills, Android SDK familiarity, and a strong drive to learn modern mobile development practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS or software engineering.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
• Familiarity with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Experience with Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
• Must be available for a hybrid work schedule in Zapopan, Jalisco.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and implementation of Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable Kotlin/Java code.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers for a seamless experience.
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality.
• Debug and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Work with APIs and third-party libraries.
• Contribute to testing and QA of applications.
• Keep up-to-date with Android development trends.
