A leading tech company is looking for a skilled Android Developer with strong proficiency in Kotlin to design and maintain mobile applications. You'll work collaboratively across teams, ensuring application performance and reliability, while staying up-to-date with mobile development trends. The position is remote, enabling you to impact our customers directly. Candidates should have experience publishing apps to the Play Store and integrating APIs.

Location Requirement: Mexico, Remote

What Does success mean in this role?

• Strong proficiency Android development experience using Kotlin and shipping apps to the Play Store
• Experience with modern Kotlin development practices, such as Jetpack Compose and Flow. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Familiarity with material design guidelines and Android app lifecycle
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store

Daily Activities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms
• Translate product requirements, UX designs, and business needs into robust mobile solutions
• Write clean, wellstructured, maintainable, and testable code
• Collaborate with backend, UX/UI, QA, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
• Debug, optimize, and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, builds, releases, and app store deployments
• Stay current with evolving mobile development trends and platform updates
