Job summary

Industrias La Mesa de Tijuana, S.A. de C.V. seeks a professional responsible for financial analysis, statutory accounting and fixed assets control for our maquiladora entity in Mexico.

You will ensure compliance with QMS, safety and regulatory requirements while supporting budgeting and forecasts. The role involves coordinating with global business center, preparing INEGI reports, VAT/ DIOT filings, and leading monthly and annual close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, engineering, computer systems, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Statutory accounting experience

• Tax calculation knowledge
• Fixed asset control knowledge

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll, operational and capital budgets.
• Prepare payroll, operational and capital forecasts (quarterly, annual).
• Analyze monthly operating expenses variances (OPEX).
• Create and record obsolescence reserves.
• Participate in internal/external audits, SOX.
• Capitalize and control capital projects.
• Manage fixed assets administration (requisition, recording, inventory, additions, disposal, depreciation, amortization).
• Maintain chart of accounts & mapping.
• Prepare INEGI reports for the Ministry of Economy.
• Coordinate collection and filing of supplier tax documentation (SAT, REPSE).
• Tax calculations and coordination with tax consultants; submit to authorities.
• Submit monthly electronic accounting reports.
• Respond to audit requests.
• Prepare and submit VAT applications.
• Prepare monthly DIOT filings.
• Monthly and annual accounting close activities.
• Coordinate with Global Business Center.
• Maintain accounting records.
• Support annual physical inventory.

Job description

Professional responsible for financial analysis, statutory accounting & fixed assets control of maquiladora entity.

Adheres to Plenimex values and all safety, environmental and quality requirements, including but not limited to: quality management systems (QMS), safety, environmental and safety management systems, company operating policies and procedures. company, and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares payroll, operational and capital budget
• Prepares payroll, operational and capital forecast (Quarterly, annual)
• Determination and analysis of monthly operating expenses variances (OPEX)
• Creation and recording of obsolescence reserves
• Participating in internal/external audit, SOX.
• Capital project control
• Responsible for Fixed assets administration (requisition, recording, documentation, inventory, additions, disposal, depreciation, amortization, etc.
• Chart of accounts & mapping
• Preparation and submission of monthly and annual INEGI report to Ministry of economy
• Responsible for collection and filing od supplier tax documentation (SAT, REPSE, Positive opinion)
• Tax calculations, coordination with tax consultants, and submission of these to the authorities.
• Responsible for submitting monthly electronic accounting reports (catalog, trial balance, accounting policies).
• Responding to audit requests (authorities).
• Determining, controlling, preparing, and submitting VAT applications to the authorities.
• Determining and submitting monthly DIOT (Tax Identification Number).
• Monthly and annual accounting closing activities.
• Coordination with global business center

• Support with annual physical inventory.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, engineering, computer system, bachelor related
• 3 years of experience manufacturing environment
• Statutory accounting
• Budget preparation and analysis experience
• Tax calculation knowledge
• Fixed asset control knowledge.
