Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Reforma, Chiapas, Mexico to support financial reporting and internal controls. This role requires handling journal vouchers, preparing analyses, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP or local principles.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, 1+ year of related experience, and strong SAP FI and Excel skills to manage P2P processes and month-end activities. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance.
• Advanced to fluent English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong SAP experience, preferably SAP FI module.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skill.
• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment execution, and month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting reports and increasingly complex analyses with related spreadsheets or applications.
• Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions.
• Research and resolve basic accounting issues and internal control-related matters.
• Understand company organizational structure and internal controls.
• Support forecasting and financial reporting activities.
