Placements24 is seeking an Analista Contable Junior in Puebla, Mexico to join the finance team. This entry-level role welcomes recent graduates or those with 1–2 years of experience and focuses on tax preparation, compliance, and foundational accounting tasks.

You will work in a collaborative Puebla office, supporting the senior team with monthly closes, data entry, and tax filings while developing solid accounting knowledge and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Up to 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, chart of accounts).
• Familiarity with Mexican tax regulations (VAT, ISR) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Support the senior accounting team with data entry and maintaining financial records.
• Aid in the preparation of tax returns, including VAT, ISR, and other relevant taxes.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Respond to basic accounting inquiries from internal departments.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and documentation.
• Learn and apply company accounting policies and procedures.
