Amazon is seeking a Shift Manager in Last Mile Execution, with four key areas that you’ll always focus on: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your operation.

This role requires working with multiple business and technical teams across the company to manage successful Under the Roof (UTR) performance, driving continuous improvement and enhancing carrier performance. The candidate must effectively influence leadership across customer service operations, technology teams, multiple support teams, multiple carrier partners, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day management of the Last Mile Operation in the North Region, overseeing UTR operations focused on delivering Amazon orders directly to customers.
  • Set and communicate performance goals, create expectations and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations, and ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs and their drivers.
  • Maximize productivity execution through training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.
  • Partner with the AMZL Delivery Station On the Road (OTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Provide tactical leadership for strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional tasks and track progress.
  • Communicate across various areas to align goals and tasks, ensuring overall program success.
  • Strategically plan and forecast to appraise performance and resolve problems.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Execute cross‑functional projects or components of large programs, including data gathering, manipulation, analysis, forward‑looking supply‑chain approaches, and communication of insights & recommendations.
  • Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operations, managing a team group to meet all building goals.
  • Support safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for associates and delivery service providers.
  • Support a team of OTR and DSPs in weekly management of the last‑mile operation, including meetings, training, job duty assignments, data analysis, metrics reviews, and communication with DSPs and their drivers.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
