Jobtailor is seeking a data-centric student for a Product Engineering support role in Mexico City. You will assist in daily operations, run data analyses, and help document processes using Generative AI and LLMs.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and data specialists to translate data into actionable insights. The role requires a Bachelor's student with strong English, SQL, and Python basics, plus a proactive attitude and willingness to learn modern engineering workflows.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business or a closely related technical field (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation).
• Strong interest in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini APIs).
• Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python) for basic data parsing or automation scripting.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and structured documentation skills.
• Advanced intermediate to fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
• Ability to work on a hybrid model, attending the office twice a week.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily operations and projects within the Product Engineering area.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and documentation tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Research and prepare presentations or reports as needed.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collect, map, and analyze data schemas and process flows for data conversion from competitor apps.
• Use Generative AI/LLMs to generate, refine, and maintain technical documentation of competitor processes.
• Collaborate with senior software engineers and data specialists to understand requirements and architectures.
• Perform data exploration and profiling to identify patterns and transformation bottlenecks.
• Verify accuracy of LLM-generated documentation against actual DB structures and codebases.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to share progress and learn best practices.
