Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en ingeniería de software, datos o ML.
• Experiencia práctica en diseño y despliegue de servicios de producción.

Tu Propósito

As an AI Automation Engineer at Bitso, you will play a key role in accelerating our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by designing, building, and deploying AI‑powered solutions that streamline internal workflows and automate repetitive tasks. You’ll work across front‑end, back‑end, and DevOps domains to identify opportunities for AI‑driven optimization, integrate intelligent agents into our engineering processes, and develop tools that enhance developer productivity and product delivery speed. Your mission is to turn AI innovation into tangible velocity gains, helping teams ship faster, with higher quality, and less friction. You’ll contribute to building our internal AI knowledge base, experiment with emerging technologies, and lead the adoption of scalable AI workflows across the company.

Engineering Manager

¿Quién Eres?

• Fluency in English.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering, with a proven record of owning technical initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with hands‑on experience designing, building, and deploying production‑grade services or tools.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals (e.g., data preparation, training, evaluation, embeddings).
• Hands‑on experience integrating APIs and automation workflows, with the ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Interest and demonstrated learning in LLMs or applied AI, with curiosity to experiment and quickly adopt new frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
• Strategic mindset, capable of identifying automation opportunities, defining roadmaps, and aligning technical work with business goals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate ideas into actionable plans and drive cross‑functional adoption.
• Autonomy and initiative: proactively identify gaps, propose solutions, and lead projects without needing step‑by‑step guidance.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Design, build, and deploy LLM‑powered tools, copilots, and AI agents that enhance developer productivity and streamline key engineering workflows.
• Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI opportunities by collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, DevOps) to uncover bottlenecks and automation gaps.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption of AI‑powered tools, provide training, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Bitso's engineering standards.
