Airgas is seeking an AG-Supervisor, Distribution in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will manage a team of licensed personnel, ensure DOT/OSHA/compliance, oversee truck and forklift maintenance, and maintain driver records.

Responsible for safety training, incident reporting, and daily safety meetings while coordinating with internal customers to meet timely deliveries. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a dynamic, safety-focused work environment at Airgas, a leader in industrial gases.

Formación

  • Must understand compressed gases and their applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of DOT rules and compliance.
  • Proficient with computers (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Understanding of cylinder tracking and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Airgas part numbers and generation of new parts.
  • Understanding of environmental and air quality protocols (BAAQMD).
  • Knowledge of analyzers (FID, GC, ICP) and Airgas applications.
  • Knowledge of welding gases and safety supply industry.

Responsabilidades

  • Manages a team of Class A and B licensed personnel.
  • Coordinates with regional safety officer to ensure OSHA/DOT/EPA/FDA and local compliance.
  • Creates and revises standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Oversees truck and forklift maintenance.
  • Maintains driver files and maintenance records per regulations.
  • Reports and investigates all accidents/injuries within 24 hours.
  • Adheres to Airgas safety rules; ensures safety training is conducted and documented.
  • Leads daily safety meetings.
  • Collaborates with internal customers to meet timelines.
  • Represents company in traffic violation responses; handles fleet accident reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
