Job summary

Safran in Querétaro, Mexico seeks an engineer to provide technical and engineering support for aircraft engine maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations, OEM requirements, and customer expectations.

You will lead investigations, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with international teams and suppliers to optimize maintenance processes and ensure quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Minimum of 2 years of aerospace industry experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations and customers for aircraft engine maintenance activities.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives related to engine performance and maintenance processes.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, OEM requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Integrate OEM technical documentation and customer-specific requirements into internal procedures and processes.
• Serve as the technical liaison between internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, OEMs, and Safran support teams.
• Support the development, industrialization, and optimization of engine maintenance and repair processes.
