We are currently looking for a Accounting Specialist to join our team in Mexico City. Responsible for accounting activities related to NNA fleet vehicles inventory (including incentives). Supports functional area & sales accounting team. Prepares journal entries reconciliations ad hoc reports & analyses. Supports daily / weekly / monthly tasks as necessary. Supports J-SOX compliance & external audit for functional area.

A Day in the Life:

• Preparation of journal entries and management of month‑end closing duties.
• Analyze general ledger accounts research open items and account discrepancies and prepare reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic audit and ad‑hoc reports.
• Participate in the testing and installation of accounting systems and related software.
• Support other team members as projects and initiatives require.

Required:

• The candidate should have knowledge of US GAAP & International Accounting Standards; excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to successfully work with diverse groups; a self‑starter with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and committed to continuous improvement of key business and accounting processes / procedures; strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and take corrective action as needed.
• Experience in a professional accounting / finance role preferred.
• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with a CPA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications particularly Excel and SAP ECC experience.
• Fluent English
