Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, IFRS reporting, and related financial activities in Nuevo León, Mexico.

The role requires 1–4+ years in accounting, SAP/ERP experience, and strong English communication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with audits and special projects, contributing to accurate financial statements.

Formación

• 1–4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• SAP or ERP experience is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and analyze issues.
• Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reporting.
• Prepare IFRS reporting packages and coordinate with central finance.
• Assist AR with projects and initiatives and support audits (KPMG).
• Support IFRS and SEM reporting submissions.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for support of General Ledger, specifically for month end /yead end closing, account reconciliations and analysis and financial reporting. This position will also assist Accounts Receivable department with special projects and initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Account reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, analysis and issue resolutions related to those accounts
• Month-end/year end close activities including journal entries, corporate reporting and IFRS package preparation
• Inter and intracompany eliminations, reporting and reconciliations
• SAP month end processing including assessments, allocations, and foreign exchange valuation.
• Assist with IFRS reporting packages preparation
• Communicate to central finance team on status of monthly closing including the preparation and submission of SEM IFRS reporting
• Assist other areas of finance (primarily AR) with various projects and initiatives
• Assist with KMPG (interim/final) audit requests
• Special projects as assigned by manager

Knowledge

• Working knowledge of account reconciliations, accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in English

Experience

• 1-4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment.
• SAP or other ERP experience strongly preferred.

Skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management.
• Advanced independent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field required.
• Accounting strongly preferred.
