Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Key Account Manager eCommerce (Marketplaces & eTailers) to lead Marketplace and Retail channels, drive sustainable growth, and optimize digital shelf performance. You will forecast, plan promotions, manage inventory, and analyze KPIs while collaborating with distributors and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes brand integrity, gray market control, and a hybrid work model based in Mexico City.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Marketplace and eCommerce accounts (Amazon and Mercado Libre preferred).
  • Experience in consumer goods/electronics preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the ecommerce ecosystem, incl. 1P models.
  • Experience with forecasting, inventory management, sell-in/sell-out analysis and ecommerce KPIs.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, complex formulas, dashboards, data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic, commercial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for Marketplace and eTailer channels to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, eTailers, and strategic partners.
  • Define customer-specific assortments and portfolio strategies based on opportunities and demand.

  • Coordinate promotions, digital campaigns, and commercial initiatives with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure digital shelf excellence with accurate product content, titles, images, attributes, and descriptions.
  • Monitor pricing compliance and support gray market control initiatives.
  • Prepare and present business reviews and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Retail Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage channels including Mercado Libre, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Coppel, Liverpool, Costco, Walmart, and Sam's Club.

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager eCommerce (Marketplaces & eTailers), you will be responsible for developing and managing Marketplace and Retail eCommerce channels to drive sustainable growth across HARMAN's digital business. You will lead commercial planning, forecasting, pricing execution, digital shelf optimization, promotional initiatives, and business analysis to maximize channel performance. This role requires close collaboration with distributors, customers, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while protecting brand integrity and supporting gray market control initiatives. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Indirect eCommerce Manager.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for Marketplace and eTailer channels to drive sales growth, profitability, and achievement of business targets.
  • Manage commercial and operational relationships with distributors, eTailers, and strategic partners.
  • Define customer-specific assortment and portfolio strategies based on business opportunities and consumer demand.
  • Build, monitor, and manage forecasts, purchase orders, inventory levels, and key business KPIs.
  • Analyze sell-in, sell-out, sales trends, market dynamics, and platform performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate the execution of promotions, digital campaigns, and commercial initiatives with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure digital shelf excellence through accurate and optimized product content, including titles, images, attributes, descriptions, and enhanced content.
  • Monitor pricing compliance and support gray market control initiatives, including unauthorized seller tracking.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Retail Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to execute business plans effectively.
  • Manage channels including Mercado Libre, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Coppel, Liverpool, Costco, Walmart, and Sam's Club.
What You Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Marketplace and eCommerce accounts, preferably Amazon and Mercado Libre.
  • Experience in consumer goods, consumer electronics, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the eCommerce ecosystem, including Marketplace and First-Party (1P) business models.
  • Experience with forecasting, inventory management, sell-in/sell-out analysis, profitability metrics, and eCommerce KPIs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, dashboard development, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Bonus Points if You Have
  • Direct experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central
  • At least 2 years of responsibility leading an Amazon First-Party (1P) business.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with Digital Shelf Analytics, Marketplace Analytics, or Price Monitoring tools such as Nubimetrics, Flip Flow, Keepa, Helium 10, Profitero, Salsify, Syndigo, or similar solutions.
  • Experience within consumer electronics or premium brands.
