Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. in Juarez, Mexico, seeks a QA Inspector to oversee inline inspections and ensure products meet strict quality standards in production.

You will perform visual and functional checks, document results in IT systems, and have authority to stop nonconforming materials, escalating when required. This role supports timely releases of deliveries that meet Vishay’s precision standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing or executing in-line inspections for samples in production, according to given standards.
• Ensuring quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as testing and measuring using specific test equipment.
• Documenting results of inspection in the respective IT systems.
• Releasing deliveries, products and services which meet expectations.
• Deciding on stoppage for (semi-)products which does not meet quality requirements and escalates cases.
• Taking samples from incoming goods (or production).
• Performs visual (or specific sensory) checks, and additional tests onsite, in accordance with test specifications.
• Utilizes check routines, check lists, and select respective test devices, according to the subject to check.
• Raises issues, or may have authority to stop / prevent materials or parts from further usage, within clear cases.
• Document results in the system.
