Celestica Inc. in Monterrey, MX seeks Senior Administrator, Quality to collect data, prepare reports on quality performance, and participate in ECO evaluation.

The role requires 7–10 years in quality, familiarity with MS Office and SAP, and ability to analyze data, conduct audits, and support 8D problem solving; occasional travel may be required.

Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Collects data and prepares reports on quality performance daily/weekly.
  • Conduct FAI for new products and/or engineering changes.
  • Participates in evaluation/release of ECOs.
  • Provide quality criteria per customer/industry requirements.
  • Prepare/edit step-by-step product documentation for validations.
  • Update quality documents as required.
  • Support internal, industry and customer audits.
  • Use MS Word, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint to perform tasks.
  • Analyze data to identify trends; create Pareto/histograms.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate and prioritize tasks for timely completion.
  • 8D methodology for problem solving.
  • Conduct audits on production line to ensure processes followed.

Summary
Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Collects data and prepares reports associated to quality performance in a daily/weekly basis
  • Conduct FAI for new products and/or Engineering changes
  • Participates on the evaluation/release of ECOs
  • Provide Quality criteria following customer/industry requirements
  • Gather information from Engineering specifications and directions to prepare and/or edit step-by-step product documentation that illustrates how to conduct validations to confirm the quality of the products.
  • Update Quality documents as required
  • Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, Power Point.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, create pareto's, histograms
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills following 8D methodology
  • Ability to conduct audits to the production line to ensure process are being properly followed
Physical Demands
  • Sitting/standing, free to move around

  • Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens
  • The job works in generally good conditions with occasional exposure (10% - 33%) to noise, odours, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required.

  • 7 to 10 years of related experience;Experience in similar job roles
