Open Position

We are currently seeking a talented Documentation Machining Engineer to join our team. As a Documentation Machining Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the assembly of technical documentation for machining projects. You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely assembly of documentation for machining processes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the assembly of technical documentation for machining projects including the preparation and update of process documentation for the different engines items such as block, cyl. head, crank and front cover with each line supervisor
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information and technical specifications
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical documentation
  • Organize and structure documentation according to project requirements
  • Verify the consistency and integrity of information in the documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and quality requirements
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet project deadlines
  • Identify and communicate any potential issues or risks related to documentation assembly
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for documentation processes and methodologies
  • Prepare all deliverable documentation for the launch process
  • PFEMA, Flow Diagram, Drawing ballooned, Control Plan, Process Sheets, Tool Layout, Fixture Process Sheet, Tool Sheets, Characteristic Matrix, SOP, MPRQ, equipment engineering, R&R, capacity studies, gages engineering drawings and list of gages
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in documentation assembly for machining projects
  • Strong knowledge of technical documentation standards and requirements
  • Proficiency in document management software and tools
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team environment
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Experience in the Automotive or Engineering consulting industry (preferred)
  • Experience with machining processes and understanding of machining terminology
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Experience with CAD software for layout design, such as AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machining processes
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Experience with creating PFMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) is a must
  • Experience with creating Control plans is a must
  • Experience with gage R&R methodology
  • Experience creating process sheets for machining is a plus
  • Experience creating flow diagram
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations related to assembly lines is desirable
